Errors are expensive
Incorrect VAT treatment in a filed return creates penalties and interest that compound quietly. Catching it at invoice level costs nothing; correcting it later rarely does.
VAT registration, quarterly returns, refunds and FTA correspondence — including review of past returns and voluntary disclosures.
A VAT return is only as good as the invoices behind it. We register your business, review the underlying documents, prepare the return, file it on the Federal Tax Authority portal and keep the evidence filed for the five years a reviewer may ask for it.
We handle mandatory and voluntary registration, confirm the effective date of registration, and set up your invoicing, credit notes and record-keeping so that the first return is accurate rather than corrective. For businesses already registered, we review the previous returns and identify errors before the FTA does.
Each quarter we reconcile your sales and purchase records to the VAT ledger, check that invoices carry the details the legislation requires, apply the correct treatment for exports, zero-rated supplies, exempt supplies, reverse-charge transactions and intra-GCC movements, and file on time.
If a mistake has already been made, we prepare a voluntary disclosure, quantify the exposure and manage the submission. Where the FTA issues an assessment or a clarification request, we draft the response and support it with the documents.
The scope below is our standard service. Anything outside it is agreed in writing before the work starts, so nothing arrives as a surprise invoice.

Every return is prepared by one accountant and reviewed by a second before submission, with the working papers archived against your file.
Registration is mandatory once taxable supplies exceed AED 375,000 in twelve months, and optional from AED 187,500. We assess your turnover and complete registration with the correct effective date.
Late filing and late payment attract administrative penalties. If you have missed a period we regularise the position, file the outstanding return and prepare a disclosure where needed to limit the exposure.
Recoverable input tax depends on the nature of the expense and your own supplies. We review the classifications and, where a refund position exists, prepare and follow up the refund application.
